Caution, giant baby ahead!
Christian is an eater. The boy loooooves food. He's voracious. Insatiable. The baby that ate Bern. He's like that plant in The Little Shop of Horrors: "Feed me, Seymour!" Seriously. I can't keep up with him. He's gained 500 grams, give or take the weight of a brand-new dry diaper, since the first of the month.

Hide your applesauce, people. Christian is coming.

ID? Why yes, we do have ID
Christian's Swiss passport and national ID card arrived the other day; while we were applying for Christian's passport and ID we also renewed Alex's (the US children's passport is good for five years but the Swiss is only good for three years, so Alex's Swiss documents had expired in March). Between the four of us we now have six passports*, three ID cards and a residency permit. Things may get confusing around here, what with the toys everywhere and the sleep deprivation and all, but at least our identities will never be in doubt.

House beautiful
We've finally got the boys' rooms set up the way we want them, almost. We still need a rug for Christian's room and we need to hang Christian's name on the way but otherwise things are more or less set. In a perfect world my loom wouldn't be in Christian's room, but I'm not weaving much now anyway - what private free time I have is going into writing - so it's not so bad.
The plan is at some point to move the boys into the same room for sleeping - Alex wanted Christian in his room now already, and we agreed to try it, but after two nights Alex decided Christian makes too much noise - and use the other room as a play room.

This next one is dark, but it shows that the wall between the two rooms opens up like a sliding door and makes one larger room; hence the sleep in one room, play in the other plan.
