First harvest
Many of you know that Alex's uncle and grandparents are farmers. Heidi and Ernst are themselves the children of famers, making Alex a fourth generation farmer, for he has harvested his first crop: green beans he planted and picked himself.

Great job Alex!
Michelle is growing strawberries, Andrew blueberries and indian corn. We're also growing apples and blackberries, and in the vegetable garden - carrots, beets, tomatoes, squash, and sweet potatoes. Nothing to harvest yet. We've had good rain this year, so we're hoping the harvests will be good. I'll send you all some pictures when somethings ripe for picking.
